Nicole sets goals for her future 

When Nicole connected with CVGT Employment ParentsNext, she was looking for direction. 

Identifying a career path, then knowing how to get there, can be a challenge. 

But that is where CVGT Employment ParentsNext consultant Skye stepped in. 

“Nicole wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her career,” Skye says. 

“We started by creating a resume and mapping out a plan for her to find stable, long-term employment. 

“She started with casual employment in hospitality to increase her income and improve financial situation.  

“Meanwhile, she has completed her White card, Traffic Control & Traffic Management so she can obtain new employment with more hours to work.” 

These important steps have put Nicole on track for her long term goal – a career in aged care. 

Thanks to Skye’s support, Nicole will be able to access funding to begin a Certificate IV in Individual Support in the coming months. 

“Skye is always really helpful and supportive,” Nicole says. 

Since I started with CVGT Employment I have direction now and before I didn’t.
