What is Inclusive Employment Australia, and how does it benefit my business?

Inclusive Employment Australia is a new national program designed to help employers build diverse and inclusive workplaces. It connects businesses with candidates who have disability, injury, or health condition, offering tailored support to meet recruitment needs, improve staff retention, and create accessible work environments where everyone can thrive. 

It replaced Disability Employment Services (DES) and introduces a more flexible, focused approach to inclusive employment. 

How does Inclusive Employment Australia support employers?

Inclusive Employment Australia aims to assist in boosting the Employment participation and productive capacity of the workforce, addressing Skills Shortage areas and supporting Employers with inclusive recruitment and workplace practices.

Employers can access expert guidance from providers, including CVGT Employment, to:

Is there financial support available to hire people with disability, injury or health condition?

Yes. Employers may be eligible for a wage subsidy of up to $10,000 for each eligible Participant who achieves sustainable employment through the Inclusive Employment Australia program.
