Working on the job

Working on the Job

We like to make things as easy as possible for you, through understanding, guidance and support. Our Working on the Job program has been specially designed to offer flexible services that are tailored to your needs.

Our staff work closely support services including Anglicare, Bendigo District Aboriginal Cooperative, Haven Home Safe, Castlemaine Community District Health and Bendigo Kangan Institute to:

  • identify job seekers who require assistance to gain employment
  • actively engage with employers to identify job opportunities
  • link participants to community support services.

From your first appointment, you will be engaged in activities supported by our trained and experienced staff to make you work-ready, and to help you into work.

Once you know which program is for you, the road to the perfect job will generally start with an interview with one of our employment experts. They will take time to get to know you to understand your current skills, goals and individual circumstances.
