Supporting your community

Our sponsorships are able to provide money, time, merchandise or resources to help support your community support or service organisation, sporting club or event to reach your goals in any of the communities CVGT Employment services across Victoria, New South Wales or Tasmania.

Our sponsorship is designed to benefit the local community by providing funding to your r community support or service organisation, sporting club or event. We especially welcome applications to sponsor activities that support parents, people with a disability, youth, First Nations people and the LGBTQIA+ community.

Sponsorship application rounds

There are four Sponsorship application rounds throughout the year. Below are the current closing dates for sponsorship applications which happen every year:

  • Round 1 Opens: 1st January Round 1 Closes: 31st January
  • Round 2 Opens: 1st April Round 2 Closes: 30th April
  • Round 3 Opens: 1st July Round 3 Closes: 31st July
  • Round 4 Opens: 1st November Round 4 Closes: 30th November

CVGT has been working to access meaningful employment for people in your community over 40 years.
We provide a diverse range of employment programs, catering to youth, long term unemployed, parents, First Nations people and people with a disability.
Our footprint stretches across over 50 offices across Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales.

Sponsored event profile
Bendigo Pride in the Park event

CVGT provided sponsorship support for the Bendigo Pride Festival in 2024 to help celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community in Bendigo and regional Victoria. The event included musicians, drag acts, face painting, games and a dog show.
We were honoured to stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ friends, families, and allies.

Sponsored community service profile:
Common Ground coffee van

CVGT partnered with Salvation Army’s Common Ground and TasTAFE to bring the idea of having residents employed at a coffee van to fruition. The van is a popular meeting place outside the Common Ground complex in Hobart.
With the support of CVGT Employment, residents are employed at the van to develop core work and social skills.

Sponsored sporting club profile:
Bendigo FIDA Suns

CVGT has provided sponsorship support for the Bendigo FIDA Suns, who are part of the Football Integration Development Association for a number of years. The Bendigo Suns provide opportunities for people with an intellectual disability to take part in a structured Australian Rules Football competition.

CVGT Employment Community Grants

CVGT Employment also offers a community grants program annually, to provide financial support to community groups for projects that benefit the communities where CVGT Employment operates.
Applications must be made in writing on the official application form by the application deadline.
