Annual report highlights resilience and innovation

CVGT Australia has published its Annual Report for 2020-21, detailing how the organisation has continued to help people into meaningful employment despite the challenges of COVID-19.

In the past financial year CVGT Australia supported more than 8500 people across Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania into employment.

Among those to find work was Hayden, who was supported by our Bendigo team and features on the front cover of the Annual Report.

“I want to be a role model for people with cerebral palsy and other people with disabilities and show them that anything is possible,” Hayden says.

Chief executive officer Jason Russell says CVGT Australia staff needed to be resilient and adaptable to continue delivering support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“COVID-19 has created many challenges and had a lot of negative impacts on our communities, but it has also provided a lot of opportunities for those willing to seize them,” Mr Russell says.

“This has been the story of CVGT Australia during the 2020-21 financial year.”
