Support our Christmas Toy Drive

It is the season of giving and in the spirit of providing economic and social benefits to the communities within which we operate, CVGT Australia is hosting a toy drive.

The initiative is being hosted through CVGT Australia’s ParentsNext team and will help some families doing it tough during COVID-19.

The ParentsNext sites in Albury, Broadmeadows, Echuca, Frankston, Ringwood, Shepparton, Werribee and Yarrawonga are already accepting donations from the public.

The public is invited to donate a toy suitable for children aged between three and six. Due to COVID-19 safety measures, only new toys can be accepted.

ParentsNext has been a part of CVGT since July 2018. The program helps mums and dads on a parenting payment – who have been at home raising children – prepare for work by the time their youngest child turns six.

By the time the child heads off to school, the parent may have been out of the paid workforce for a number of years. Through the program we help them pursue education or employment options best suited to their individual situation.

Last financial year we empowered 6064 parents and their families in New South Wales and Victoria take big steps forward in exploring a better future.

To give the ParentsNext teams time to distribute toys to families, donations can be made at these CVGT Australia branches up to 5pm on Wednesday 16 December.
