Community to share in $30k worth of projects

Community groups across Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales have received a boost for their events, projects and initiatives thanks to the CVGT Australia community grants program.

A total of $30,000 in funding was approved by the CVGT Board of Directors as part of the 2019 community grants program.

CVGT Australia Acting Chairman Dave Richardson said the company takes great pride in its support of community projects through the community grants program.

”We do this with a broader community in mind. Grants are available across all areas where CVGT operates, this year we have been able to support 34 groups who are making our communities better.

“Community organisations have a diverse range of needs. Some need financial assistance to purchase equipment or improve their facilities, whilst others need help to get an event off the ground.

“CVGT is delighted to support these organisations through our community grants program,” Mr Richardson said.

The CVGT Australia community grants program calls for applications in March each year.
