CVGT Australia selected to participate in ParentsNext project
CVGT Australia is about to expand employment services after being selected to deliver the new ParentsNext project in the Greater Shepparton and Hume Local Government Areas.
Under the two-year contract, CVGT Australia will deliver the new ParentsNext service, that will work with parents who are preparing to return to work.
CVGT Australia CEO Paul Green said the company was delighted with securing the contract which will commence in April.
“CVGT Australia has been delivering employment services for more than 30 years and we are excited to have won the tender.
“ParentsNext is an exciting new service, designed to assist parents with young children to join or re-enter the workforce by the time their children start school.
“We will deliver the service from six locations including Shepparton, Mooroopna and Tatura in the Greater Shepparton LGA and Craigieburn, Broadmeadows and Sunbury in the Hume LGA.
ParentsNext will help parents become work-ready, by helping them identify their education and employment goals, develop a pathway to achieve their goals and link them to activities and services in their local community.
“CVGT has always offered a tailored, individual approach to servicing clients in our other programs, and we look forward to providing a vibrant, innovative and responsive service to parents in the two LGAs.
“This is an exciting time for our company. We will be employing five staff to deliver the service which commences in April,” Mr Green added.
ParentsNext forms part of the Australian Government’s Growing Jobs and Small Business Package announced in the 2015-16 Federal Budget.
