CVGT Employment recognised as a Diversity Council of Australia Inclusive Employer for 2025–2026

CVGT Employment is proud to be recognised as an Inclusive Employer for 2025–2026 by the Diversity Council Australia (DCA). The announcement was made as part of Inclusion at Work Week (17–21 November 2025), a national celebration of inclusive workplace practices.

This recognition places CVGT Employment among leading organisations across the country that have demonstrated a genuine and sustained commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Jason Russell, Chief Executive Officer of CVGT Employment, said, “After first achieving Inclusive Employer recognition in 2023–2024, being acknowledged again underscores our commitment to creating a workplace where every employee feels valued, respected, and supported. This recognition reflects our ongoing efforts to foster diversity and cultural awareness, ensuring an environment where people can thrive and contribute their best.”

To be named on the DCA Inclusive Employers list, organisations must administer a workforce survey and exceed the National Index Benchmark across at least five of the six key areas: awareness, engagement, inclusive organisational climate, inclusive leadership, inclusive teams, and reduction of exclusion.

“CVGT Employment is proud to have exceeded the National Index Benchmark across all six measures for the second time,” said Fleur Cousins, CVGT Employment General Manager.

“This achievement reflects the strength of our culture and the dedication of our people, with 70% of our workforce participating in the survey.”

Our Inclusive Employer status aligns with our role in delivering the Australian Government’s new disability employment program, Inclusive Employment Australia, which launched on 1 November 2025. The program is designed to create a more inclusive future by supporting businesses to build inclusive practices, improve equality in hiring and retention.

“Inclusion and diversity are central to how we operate, enabling us to better understand and respond to the needs of the communities we support. We know that meaningful employment is transformational- for individuals, businesses and communities. This recognition strengthens our ability to serve diverse groups and deliver programs that reflect their needs,” Fleur Cousins adds.
