Supporting young people to learn to swim

CVGT Employment is proud to be a supporter of an important cause dedicated to the memory of a much-loved boy.

The Hunter Boyle Children’s Swim Program has been established to help young people in the Goulburn Valley learn to swim.

Hunter was just two years old when he tragically drowned on his grandfather’s farm in 2020.

To support the program, a gala fundraising ball is being held in Shepparton on Saturday 15 April.

The event is being called the ‘Night Night Moon Gala Ball’ – a reference to Hunter’s bedtime routine of saying goodnight to the moon.

The Hunter Boyle Children’s Swim Program is honoured to be supported by local businesses such as CVGT.
Without community support, the Hunter Boyle Children’s Swim Program would not be able to continue providing funding for swimming lessons and swimming instructor scholarships.

Hunter’s mum Ash

“We are very lucky to be surrounded by a community who share our vision, that swimming lessons are not a luxury and all children, regardless of their circumstances, deserve equal opportunities, to learn a life skill that may someday save their life.

“Thank you CVGT!”

A scholarship linked to the swim program is also available to support people who want to become a swim instructor.

Members of the CVGT Shepparton team will be attending the ball to show our support for the cause.
