CVGT Australia services are still available, we’re still here to support you.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has temporarily changed the way we are looking after you at CVGT.

CVGT is dedicated to continuing to support all employer and job seeker needs during this time of uncertainty. The health and wellbeing of our customers, staff and communities is our top priority, so we have put in place additional health and safety measures across our offices to ensure we deliver these essential services in a safe environment.

Our offices remain open, but where possible we will conduct meetings by phone or video instead of face-to-face.

Job Seekers and Participants

CVGT is now delivering services from a distance, via phone or video call, to ensure you still have access to the services and support you need. It’s important to us that you can still search for work, stay employed or keep on track with the programs or study that you may be participating in.

You still have access to our computers at our offices if you require them.

If you have an appointment, a CVGT team member will call you on the day. You’re not required to attend the office. Please make sure you have your phone nearby.

You can continue to find details about your upcoming appointments within your MyGov account or via the jobactive app.

Please note all Work for the Dole activities, including Individual Hosted activities, are suspended effective immediately.

We understand the impact that COVID-19 may have on you financially.

There is a range of assistance currently available via Services Australia (Centrelink).

Employers

CVGT is now delivering services from a distance, via phone or video call, to ensure that you still receive the support to find and retain staff. As an employer, you are still able to access CVGT’s range of services including employment of job seekers, trainees and apprentices, wage subsidies and more.

If you require additional business information and guidance, the Australian Government provides a range of support for businesses impacted by COVID-19.

Please visit their website or call the business.gov.au support line on 13 28 46.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local CVGT office or call us on 13 28 48.
