Rhonda shares her pride on NAIDOC Week

Our Indigenous Communities Liaison Officer, Rhonda, was born in Tasmania. She is a proud Palawa woman and grew up on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Bendigo.

Rhonda has been supporting our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through her role at CVGT Australia for 13 years. Part of her role is overseeing our Indigenous School-Based Apprenticeship Training (SBAT) program.

“The Indigenous SBAT program connects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with employers, and enhances their knowledge of their cultures,” says Rhonda.

In our NAIDOC Week video with Rhonda, she talks more about her role at CVGT Australia and our commitment to building strong partnerships with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

“I’ve been with CVGT Australia for 13 years and it’s wonderful to see how far we’ve come,” says Rhonda.
