What you need to do during a pause
If there’s a natural disaster or other event in your location, prioritise your safety and follow any emergency warnings.
During the pause, you must still:
- check your points target, job search requirement or other obligations, so you know when they’re due after the pause
- report your income to Centrelink each fortnight so they can pay you the right amount.
If you have obligations due just before or after these dates that you will not be able to meet, contact us on 132 848 before they are due.
Stay safe, and our thoughts are with everyone affected by the bushfires. We’re here to support you during this time.
