Jo proud to serve community’s needs

Here at CVGT Australia we have a big focus on youth employment, and one of the people driving this effort is business development consultant Jo. 

She says one of the most rewarding parts of her job with the YConnect team is making connections that will help young people. 

“It’s definitely [satisfying] when we find out that an employer is interested in our program and willing to give our youth an opportunity,” she says. 

It helps to deliver that support to young people and employers, Jo says, when you work for an organisation with a good reputation, that is professional, diverse and acts with kindness. 

“Just waking up and coming in to work, it’s a great place to be,” she says. “There are lots of great people in the CVGT company. 

“Knowing that we’ve got the support, knowing that we’ve got youth that need help, knowing that I’ve got mentors who are really good at what they do – it’s just a great place to work.” 

Jo says she’s proud of the work that goes in to support our communities. 

“We’re all about community, so knowing that there’s a lot of time and money being spent in the community – I’m very proud to be part of that.”
