Our Devonport team are headed to Don College ‘Beyond the School Gate’ event on Wednesday 18 October. The event will promote awareness, inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.  

Organisations attending will have an opportunity to connect with attendees, and showcase insights, resources, and opportunities they can offer to assist when transitioning from education to employment.

About Beyond the School Gate program

Beyond the School Gates program aims to engage, build knowledge, skills and confidence to increase the employability and improve the quality of life for young people with intellectual disability and learning differences (15 years+) and their families. This will focus on out of school hours vocation, recreation, health and family support areas of activity. The initiative aims to break down the barriers that prevent these young people from inclusion in the community.
