Michael is hosted through CVGT Group Training to well-known Bendigo plumbing company Centre State Plumbing and Roofing.
Michael Francis, who is completing year 12 at Catholic College Bendigo this year, said I had high hopes, I wanted to win. I've been after an opportunity like this for a long time.

Michael started his career in a plumbing apprenticeship by attending the weekly Australian school based apprenticeshipinformation sessions held by CVGT Group Training.

"From a young age Ive always been interested in trades so its fantastic to have this experience" says Michael.

The annual scholarship is to enhance the learning experience for high achievers entering into an apprenticeship. The scholarship includes extra training, mentoring, financial assistance and trainingin leadership skills and may include overseas placement. The program ensures a direct opportunity for any year 12 achiever to become a true leader and ambassador for apprenticeships and CVGT.
