Who Can Use CVGT's Services?
Anyone
who is seeking work, whether currently employed or unemployed
is welcome to use CVGT’s services. CVGT does not
charge job seekers fees.
Services Available include:
Australian Apprenticeships
Australian Apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age and
do not require any entry qualifications. You can be a school-leaver,
re-entering the workforce or simply wishing to change careers.
Disability Employment Network
The Disability Employment Network, (DEN), aims to assist jobseekers
with a disability to gain and maintain employment in the open
employment market or to become self employed.
Indigenous Programs
We have a number of programmes aimed at increasing the long term
career and employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
All programmes combine training and employment with a strong
focus on the guidance and mentoring of both Participants
and employers.
Green Corps
Green Corps assist Young People to develop their skills
and find employment whilst improving the environment.
Group Training Method of Employment
Group Training Companies employ apprentices and trainees
(currently over 40,000 Australia-wide), and place them
with 'host employers', usually from small to medium size
enterprises.
Harvest Labour Services
Harvest Labour Service is an initiative of the Australian
Government. CVGT Employment & Training Specialists are the
contracted provider of this service in the Goulburn
Valley.
Job Network Services
Whether you have been without employment for 1 day or 1 year,
CVGT's dedicated staff will provide you with opportunities to
improve your Resume, Update your Job Searching skills and give
you practical advice on how to move back into employment.
Local Community Partnerships Program (LCP)
Career Advice Australia is an Australian Government initiative
committed to improving the quality of career education
and helping young Australians make a smooth transition
from school to further study, training or work.
Training
Training is an investment that will provide you with current
skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of our
ever-changing business environment.
Work for the Dole
Work for the Dole is a Federally-funded program which aims
to provide job seekers with work-ready skills to help
them gain long term employment.
Youth Pathways Program (YP)
Youth Pathways aims to assist young people aged 13 to 19
who are most at risk of not making a successful transition
to reach their full potential by keeping them engaged or
re-engaging them with education or training.
