Australian School Based Apprenticeships

Australian School Based Apprenticeships are a CVGT initiative, which provides an opportunity for VCE students to gain valuable work experience, and VCE credits, while undertaking the last two years of secondary schooling.

Students participating in the this program attend the workplace of a ‘host employer’ 1 or 2 days per week, and attend school on the other weekdays.

While at work, they undertake a range of duties and training modules which provide those who successfully complete the program with both VCE credits and credits towards the partial completion of a “Australian Apprenticeship”.
