CVGT provides Group Training Services
to all employers. Group Training companies have been
operating in Australia since the early 1980s providing
apprentices and trainees to ‘host employers’
with a wide range of benefits, such as:
- CVGT can provide your business with
the opportunity to employ an apprentice/trainee at any
level
- Group Training through CVGT provides
a safety net for the host employer, who has all the
advantages of carefully selected apprentices and trainees
without the worries of long-term employment contracts
- staffing is flexible to help small businesses meet
peak workloads and seasonal variations
- The apprentice or trainee has the
opportunity of gaining work experience and training
benefits through gaining a nationally-recognised qualification
- You pay only a single hire charge,
which includes all employment on-costs
- The hire charge covers all administration
costs in the areas of WorkCover, Superannuation, Group
Tax, Group Certificates, WorkCover claims, and reporting
requirements to Government Departments
- CVGT will provide an ongoing monitoring,
assessment and evaluation service, which includes guidance
and counselling for the apprentice or trainee
- CVGT will also provide advice on training
related matters to Host Employers

selected by CVGT, based on proven selection criteria
and a strong desire to develop their chosen career.
