| AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
- [2006] Jason Naylor(CVGTs Indigenous Programmes Coordinator)
is the 2006 Winner of the DEWR Award for Innovation in the provision
of services to Indigenous Australian Clients. CVGT also received
a Certificate of Noteworthy Commendation for an Employer or
Service Provider who has made a significant contribution to
Indigenous Employment.
- In 2005 a STEP participant who was employed and trained by CVGT,
won the Structured Training and Employment Program(STEP) Encouragement
Award.
- In 2005 a CVGT Group Training Employee won the Wurreker Indigenous
Adult Learner of the Year.
- In 2004 CVGT was a Wurreker Finalist in the Private Sector Employer
Category.
- In 2003 Jason Naylor (CVGTs Indigenous Programmes Coordinator)
received the Department of Justice Award for Outstanding Achievement
in the Social Reform of Indigenous Youth.
- In 2003 CVGT won the NAIDOC Award for Exceptional Services to
Aboriginal Youth.
